Our story

Ephyca was founded in 2025 by Clementine François and Jerome Wertz. Their journey in technologies for the monitoring of physiological and cognitive states started in 2009 as researchers at the University of Liège. In 2015, they co-founded Phasya, a global leader in software for monitoring cognitive and physiological states acquired by Tobii in 2021. Over the last 15 years, our team has delivered tens of projects in several sectors such as automotive, aviation, defence, medical diagnosis, and rail. Through Ephyca, our goal is to support companies to develop the next generation of products for improving health, safety, and user experience.
